Our partners Mozzaik audio attended this year’s Warsaw Audio Video Show, where they presented their DSD and PCM upsampling software modules running on the Euphony Audio – Summus 2 music server, powered by Stylus 4 software. The output signal from the Summus server was always DSD, native from DSD music files or upsampled to DSD from PCM music files. The art of analog conversion is performed with a special direct DSD DAC that uses no digital filters. The DAC was only involved in the simple conversion of the DSD stream enabling the transformation of the current source into a voltage source.
The sophisticated computer audio setup was highly praised by visitors and was generally described as a true demonstration of “organic”, realistic sound.
