Hello,
I play music from my PC (usb pendrive with euphony)
When I play from USB port in mainboard everything is OK, but when i play from USB in JCAT Femto then is no sound. In options euphony shows correctly my converter Audiobyte Hydra X but music is stoped.
Jcat USB on windows and linux work properly.
Please help me

It probably means that linux kernel in use by euphony v2 does not have necessary drivers. Please consider trying euphony v3.

Please tell me what i must do beacuse last year i have 30 days trial on my pc euphony 2.0 and now i try newest version euphony v3 but the new trial dont work
I was registred a new email and i have new trial code but when i put them to euphony i have error INVALID CODE

Euphony is great program but jcat dont work. This USB card is the top at this moment and is very popular. Please fix this problem

Can you please try playing something on JCAT and then generate logs by holding CTRL and clicking Power Menu -> Restart WebApp. The file logs.tar.gz should be automatically generated and downloaded. Send it as attachment to
zeljko.vranic@audiokernel.com.
For activating TRIAL go to Registration in main menu, folow external link to registration page, enter you info and in voucher field enter TRIAL. You will get registration code on your email. Copy it and paste it to first registration dialog.

I just got a response from jcat:
"Apparently there is a conflict between the NEC driver under linux and the hydra. Unfortunately, nothing can be done on the side of the JCAT card."

I mean what info did you gave them? If you did not gave them any logs or system messages then they must be already familiar with the problem. I tried to google it but there is no any concrete info related to this problem mentioned anywhere...

I play from PC and Euphony software (linux) and Euphony correct recognition of my converter Audiobyte Hydra X but music does not play.
When I connect to usb in the main pc without jcat everything works well.
What is the problem because a friend plays on euphony and everything is ok, he only has a different converter.
Can you fix it in the update for jcat usb?

We try this and doesnt work.
This is strange because i know other peoples and is that some devices work and others do not work.
My converter dont work with jcat but without jcat it is works.
My other friend have Mutek dac and it doesnt work with jcat and euphony, without jcat work well with euphony.
another friend has ifi dac and its works well with jcat and euphony.
etc.

This means that some devices work well with jcat+euphony and others do not work.
But the same devices work with euphony without jcat.

So JCAT support is probably right, it's not that euphony doesn't have a JCAT driver like I suggested in first reply, it's a conflict issue and those are hard to resolve...

You generate logs from euphony web application. You hold CTRL while in the browser in the Euphony Web App and while holding CTRL click on Restart WebApp. logs.tar.gz file should be downloaded to your default browser download location.

I have a lot of friends on the audiostereo forum.
In Poland, I was the first person who wrote about euphony on forums.
Now there are many more people who have appreciated the sound quality in euphony and we are discussing it in the forum.
An example of a link where there is a conversation.
Euphony (roon endpoint) + roon player is the best sound I ever heard in my system.

In the desktop app I have error in the screen when I go to options or when I try play the music. You see this in the screenshot.
Otherwise when I started euphony I see red inscription "FILED TO START LOAD KERNEL MODULES"

I'm sorry but I was not able to find much.
There are two warnings that are suspicious but warnings usually mean it's nothing critical otherwise it would be an error, not just a warning:

Feb 28 17:26:41 euphony kernel: usb 5-1.1: Warning! Unlikely big volume range (=32767), cval->res is probably wrong.
Feb 28 17:26:41 euphony kernel: usb 5-1.1: [10] FU [PCM Playback Volume] ch = 2, val = -32767/0/1
There are also some errors in playback process but they don't tell me much without raising log messages to higher level (and I'm not at all convinced it would help more).
I also don't know what do you expect me to do since this is not related directly to euphony but to linux in general. JCAT people should solve this if they care at all... Or the people responsible for Hydra...

I dont understand this. If Euphony was builded on linux you can resolve this problem.

I write to linux and intel and they can help resolve my problem.
Email form them:
"Feb 28 17:11:34 euphony kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:04:00.0: ERROR: unexpected command completion code 0x11.

Completion code 0x11 (17) is parameter error, this means some value in
a context parameter is invalid.
Many of these context parameter are taken from the descriptors of the
attached usb device (device, interface, endpoint descriptors)
More details are needed, output of "lsusb -v", and dynamic debug of
xhci and usbcore would be a good start"

Not sure about dynamic debug of xhci and usbcore but If you enable remote control on your euphony (CTRL+SHIFT+Restart Webapp) I can ssh into your euphony, issue lsusb -v and send you the output...

I see you are very determined to solve this somehow....
I just hope you understand that in order to really solve this we would need to establish proper test environment in which we can:
1) reproduce the issue
2) investigate it
3) hopefully find the source of the problem
4) patch kernel, recompile it and install it
5) check if problem is solved
In order to do that we would need to buy JCAT femto AND your model converter.
And this is just one combination of many (USB + converter) and it is not at all guaranteed that solution will work for other converters or other USB cards.
I don't know how big our business would need to be in order to make this endeavor profitable and ultimately reasonable...
Please understand our position.
Anyway, I will try to help you in small ways I can.

I don't see anything particularity wrong in logs besides you don't have any songs in queue. What is your exact problem now? You said at first that euphony does not work with JCAT, only on main board USB . Then you said "Euphony v3 dont work without jcat." Does that mean that euphony now works with JCAT but not with main board usb or it does not work either way?
